Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on the Cultus Career Ready platform (“Platform”) operated by Cultus Education Technology and Services Pvt. Ltd. (“Cultus”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Please read this Policy carefully before completing your purchase.

By purchasing any step, bundle, or service on the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy.

1. Overview

This Policy explains when refunds are available, how they are calculated and processed, and which purchases are eligible. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

2. Products and Services Covered

This Policy applies to the following purchasable items on the Platform:

  • CCR Essential — ₹8,999 standard price (MRP ₹9,000; the ₹4,499 limited-time launch allocation has been fully redeemed). The full 5-step programme plus the Career Guidance Hub. This is the mandatory starting tier and the only tier paid online.
  • CCR Pro — ₹18,749 all-in. Everything in Essential plus active 6-month career coaching. Available only after a learner completes the 5 steps; billed separately by the CCR team, not via the online gateway.
  • CCR Elite — ₹1,49,880 all-in. Everything in Pro plus the international career-coaching track and active 12-month career coaching. Available only after a learner completes the 5 steps; billed separately by the CCR team, not via the online gateway.

All items are educational, training, and career-coaching (advisory) services. CCR is not a recruitment, staffing, or job-placement service. Online payments collected through the gateway are for CCR Essential only; Pro and Elite upgrades are billed separately and any refund of those upgrades is handled directly with the CCR team.

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 Standard 7-day refund window

You may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your purchase date, provided that:

  • You have not commenced (started or accessed) any course content within your tier
  • You have not submitted any assessment or quiz responses
  • For CCR Pro and Elite: you have not engaged with your dedicated career coach or used any career-coaching session
  • Your request is made in writing to support@cultusedu.com within the 7-day window

3.2 No partial refunds

Under the new tier structure, each tier is sold as a single bundled offering — we no longer support partial refunds on a per-step basis. After the 7-day window has elapsed or any content has been accessed, the enrollment is non-refundable in part or in full.

3.3 Non-refundable circumstances

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • The 7-day refund window has elapsed
  • You have accessed, commenced, or submitted any content within the programme
  • (CCR Pro / Elite) Your career coach has been assigned, or any career-coaching session has been used
  • Your account has been suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms and Conditions
  • The refund request relates to a Limited-Time Offer discount (the discount itself is non-refundable; only the net amount paid is eligible for refund)
  • Course access has expired due to the Access Window having lapsed
  • The refund request is made by a third party rather than the registered account holder

3.4 CCR Pro & CCR Elite upgrade refunds (billed off-gateway)

CCR Pro and CCR Elite upgrades are billed separately by the CCR team and are not collected through the online payment gateway. Refunds for these upgrades are handled directly with the CCR team and are subject to the following:

  • Refund window: a full refund of the upgrade amount may be requested within 7 calendar days of the upgrade billing date.
  • Eligibility: no career coach has been assigned, and no career-coaching, mentorship, or other Pro/Elite session has been used, within that window.
  • Process: email support@cultusedu.com with your registered email and the upgrade payment reference. An approved refund is returned to the original off-gateway payment method, typically within 7–10 working days.
  • After the 7-day window, or once coaching has commenced, the upgrade fee is non-refundable. The Essential portion remains governed by §3.1–§3.3 above.

4. Career Coaching & Guidance

Essential tier: Complimentary career guidance and mentorship unlock when a learner completes all five steps and achieves a 5-star overall Readiness Score within the eligible enrollment window. It is bundled with Essential at no extra charge and is not separately refundable.

Pro & Elite tiers:Active career coaching (a dedicated career coach and mentor, career-search strategy coaching, recruiter-perspective masterclasses, and interview and offer-negotiation coaching) starts on enrollment and runs for the stated period. All such support is advisory and educational. The “interview-ready / career-ready within 60–90 days” readiness goals are aspirational, not guarantees. CCR is not a recruitment, staffing, or job-placement service, does not introduce learners to employers, and does not guarantee a job offer, employer, salary, role, or timeline; outcomes depend on the learner’s own job search, profile, and market conditions.

5. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Email support@cultusedu.com with the subject line: “Refund Request — [Your Registered Email]”
  • Step 2: Include in your email: your full name, registered email address, contact number, order / payment reference number, the product purchased, and the reason for your refund request
  • Step 3: Our support team will acknowledge your request within 1–2 working days and confirm your eligibility
  • Step 4: If approved, the refund will be processed within 7–10 working days to your original payment method

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Processing timelines are as follows:

  • Credit / debit card payments — 5–10 working days (subject to your bank’s processing times)
  • UPI / net banking / wallets — 3–7 working days
  • Any applicable payment gateway charges deducted at the time of the original transaction are non-refundable

GST on refunds: where a purchase included Goods and Services Tax (GST), the GST component will be refunded to the extent permissible under applicable GST law. A credit note for the refunded amount (inclusive of the GST adjustment) will be issued to your registered email.

Cultus is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors or banks.

7. Course Access During Refund Processing

If your refund request is under review, your access to the Platform will continue until a decision is made. If the refund is approved, your account access to the relevant content will be revoked upon processing of the refund.

8. Technical Issues and Access Problems

If you are experiencing technical difficulties that prevent you from accessing your course content — such as locked modules, video playback errors, or AI interview failures — please contact support@cultusedu.com before requesting a refund. Our team will endeavour to resolve such issues within 1–2 working days.

Technical difficulties that are promptly resolved by our support team do not constitute grounds for a refund.

9. Assessment Auto-Submission

As stated in our Terms and Conditions, assessments are subject to auto-submission if the learner switches browser tabs, presses ESC, or clicks outside the assessment window. This is an intentional anti-cheating mechanism. Auto-submitted assessments are not eligible for refunds or reassessment on these grounds.

10. Changes to This Policy

Cultus reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. The revised Policy will be posted on the Platform with a new effective date. Changes will not apply retrospectively to purchases made prior to the revision date.
